Recording- and mixing engineer
and recovering bassplayer.

I’m a freelance, independent music engineer, based in the Netherlands.

I record, edit and mix music, and nothing but music. All kinds of music, ranging from jazz to rock to classical to MOR.

I work in several fields: Part studio, part broadcast, part live-sound. I started of as a studio-engineer, and I’ve expanded into broadcast and FOH. Yes, they are very different, and no, they are not that different. A good mix is a good mix, and a bad one sucks everywhere. I guess it fits my personality to work on different music in different places under different circumstances. I envy the level some guys obtain working on the same music-style in the same place, but it wouldn’t be for me...

I also used to teach a little at the HKU.
